To be selected for Team UK and compete at WorldSkills London 2011.

What are you hoping for by competing for a place at WorldSkills London 2011? : 

More opportunities within my job and to help promote the caring industry.

What do your family and friends think about you competing?: 

They think it is great.

What would you say to other young people considering a vocational career?: 

Work hard and try different things.

What do you think getting involved in international competitions could do for your career?: 

It could give it an extra boost.

What parts of your training since being in the Squad have you enjoyed most / most proud of? : 

Training other competitors and helping each other.

What has been the best bit about the period in between being selected and now?: 

Meeting everyone in the Squad.

What impact has this process had on your life?: 

It has made me more confident and determined.

How has it benefitted your personal development?: 

I have more confidence and have learnt loads.

I am working more and trying new things.
