What made you choose this career?: 

I love the way you can problem solve and how anything is possible with web design.

How did you hear about competitions? : 

My college asked me if I wished to enter the WorldSkills UK Wales web design competition, so I did to give it a go and it was a success.

What are your biggest personal achievements so far?: 

Winning 1st place in the regional competition and 2nd in the national final. Also trying out new things in the past year such as competitions, the guitar and helping with Duke of Edinburgh.

What’s your ambition?: 

To become the best person I can be and to be at my greatest.

What are you hoping for by competing for a place at WorldSkills London 2011? : 

Gaining more confidence, experience and being able to compete for the Team UK and be world class.

What do your family and friends think about you competing?: 

They are really supportive and encouraging.

What would you say to other young people considering a vocational career?: 

Do whatever you are good at, but make sure you enjoy what you do. Life is for living and to reach your full potential.

What do you think getting involved in international competitions could do for your career?: 

I believe it would make me a lot more employable and show I have the skills to do the job.

Something we didn’t know about you...: 

I love to hike and believe it is a great way to think clearly and sort through my experiences recently.
