I always wanted to work with my hands. My friends and family suggested a trade. I picked electrical and never looked back.
Bridgwater college suggested that they want somebody to do it so I came forward and thought it was a brilliant opportunity to make something of myself.
Achieving and passing my apprenticeship and becoming UK National champion. I also achieved first place advanced apprenticeship awards and Bridgwater college apprentice of the year.
To learn new skills, strive for excellence and represent my country at WorldSkills.
I am hoping to work away, compete against the best and feel great about myself. I want to improve my skills to the very best.
They are overwhelmed and with my every step of the way, pushing me to the top.
Don’t knock it till you try it – you may even become the UK’s best or the world’s best at your trade.
It will unlock once in a lifetime opportunities and help make the impossible, possible.
I spend too much time splashing the cash without realising – I am a spendaholic.
