I’ve always enjoyed making things.

I heard about competitions through college.

What are your biggest personal achievements so far?: 

Winning gold at SkillBuild national final.

What’s your ambition?: 

To be selected for WorldSkills and compete for my country.

What are you hoping for by competing for a place at WorldSkills London 2011? : 

I am hoping it will open up new opportunities for me.

What do your family and friends think about you competing?: 

They’re not entirely sure what it involves.

What would you say to other young people considering a vocational career?: 

If it’s what you want to do then do it.

What do you think getting involved in international competitions could do for your career?: 

Hopefully open up more opportunities.
