What made you choose this career?:
My main aspiration in life is to become a World Class chef. There is not a day I wake up and do not want to go into work.
How did you hear about competitions? :
Though my mentor/ manager at college.
What are your biggest personal achievements so far?:
I feel I am starting to believe in myself as a person, that I can complete tasks and competitions set.
What’s your ambition?:
Get through Squad UK selection then work hard to hopefully be picked for Team UK for WorldSkills London 2011.
What are you hoping for by competing for a place at WorldSkills London 2011? :
Experience, gaining knowledge, being trained to perform to the best of my ability.
What do your family and friends think about you competing?:
They think what I’m doing is good and they will support me all the way.
What would you say to other young people considering a vocational career?:
Take every opportunity possible.
What do you think getting involved in international competitions could do for your career?:
Help improve my CV, give me great experience and improve my technical skills.
