Bruce Robinson

"Building upon the success of the UK's performance at the last WorldSkills competition, we have continued to look at how we can help both competitors and training managers improve their personal performance. Through a more stringent selection process and a more carefully crafted training programme, I am sure we will surpass our previous performance. The most important skill the competitors can develop is their mental abiliity to cope with pressure while still being able to perfom at a world-class level.."

"The WorldSkills event is a tough competition so it's important that everyone is physically and mentally fit if we want to bring back gold. However, it's also a unique experience so I'll be there to remind everyone that it's the taking part that counts and to enjoy the competition."
