Team UK announced for WorldSkills Calgary 2009
June 30, 200926 skilled young people from across the country have been chosen to represent the UK in Canada at the biggest skills competition in the world.

WorldSkills Pastry Chef Will Torrent wins 'Young Chef of the Year'
June 15, 2009Talented Pastry Chef Will Torrent, who works for Bachmann's Patisserie in Thames Ditton, was awarded 'Young Chef of the Year' by the Craft Guild of Chef's. The glittering award ceremony, held at the Hilton Hotel on London's Park Lane on the 1 June, saw 13 chefs receive an award, including Celebrity Chef Heston Blumenthal.
